Are most of his songs about the feeling of being unneeded, weak, and the need to be loved and to find what’s important? It’s a bit sad, thinking there’s a possibility that might be a feeling he has, if he wrote about it much.

*Ai ni ikiru – the title is written in katakana, which means you can’t get ay meaning out of it aside from what you think it is (words that are pronounced “ai”). Initially, I thought it’d be “living in love” since “ai” most commonly means “love” but the character used in the lyrics is not “愛” (love) but “哀” which would mean “sorrow” etc. It’s probably intentional that you can’t grasp the meaning from the title or from hearing.
