Introduction

Hello! This is my first post.

The name of the blog is inspired from the song Miracles May (more precisely Watanabe Kazuhiro’s version which I like so much and have been listening to it a lot these days) from Nitro+CHiRAL’s BL game Sweet Pool. Well, although I didn’t and can’t play the game, I like it a lot and know much about it T.T The name doesn’t have much meaning – it just sounded very beautiful to me and it’s also the month May – therefore, I chose this title >3<

I’ve been wanting for quite some time to start my own blog, and now I finally got to it. The truth is that i had wanted to start it on the 21st of May – which means yesterday – when was the birth date of my sweet Gareki from the manga Karneval. Actually, I don’t think I can choose between him and Yogi (which is why I put Yogi on the banner and Gareki in the future true first post), but because Yogi’s birth date is long past, I had decided to start my blog on Gareki’s birthday. And I failed miserably. Well, the 22nd also has a nice ring to it.

On this blog I intend to put translation of drama CDs, talk CDs, songs and whatever I find and want to translate from Japanese. My level of understanding Japanese is not very advanced, but not too low either. I can’t read Kanji (yet, I hope) and I may have many lacks in many of this language’s aspects, but I intend to use this opportunity to get better to be able to help everyone understand the world of anime/manga/japanese music, by passing the language barrier a little. Even though I can’t actually say that I can understand Japanese (fully) I intend to do my best and make the most accurate translations I can find, and I’ll stay away from the ones too much above my level in order to give you more accurate translations.

If you have any audio tracks you really wish to understand and can not find any translations anywhere, you can post a request on the requests page, although I can’t promise I’ll be able to take up the challenge, I’ll consider it based on my language skills 🙂 Please, if you do post requests, try checking if there is already a translated version somewhere already ^ ^

Please check the site from time to time if you would like, and maybe leave some comments! Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read!

  1. Hi! Thank you for translating drama cds and for allowing suggestions ^^ It’s really great to understand whats’s going on and I really enjoyed Gyaku Choukyou!! Sorry for adding another suggestion^^, may i request Makare volume 3 (魔彼 MAKARE~魔は来たりて彼を堕とす~第3巻)? I found the cds at Error-World and Doramabaka and thought it was interesting. Thanks a lot!!!

  2. Hey! I was wondering if you considering translating “Hayanie Vol 1. Sanctuary in the confines of a cage and sweet restraints / (はやにえ)第1巻 • 籠の中の聖域と甘美な束縛 ” full CD is on soundcloud! I think its a bit on the yandere side and r18 so if you’re up for it, I would cry tears of joy haha

    thanks for everything!! ^^

  3. Hello, thank you for your hard work. Also many thanks for Ookami-Kunchi vol 05 – Koiki. I want to make a request. Can you please translate all Ookami-Kunchi series?.. if you can’t, then I’ll only request one, Ookami-Kunchi vol 04 – Sonata. Thank you very much.

  4. Hello! I do not know if this is the place to leave request for translations– I apologize if it isn’t! But I was wondering if you could consider translating Gyaku Choukyou (full CD is on soundcloud by ani-chan!) I have been looking for translations everywhere with no luck =/

    Thank you!

    • Hello! Don’t worry about where to post. I do consider every request I receive here (and I try to at least prioritize the earlier requests) but most of them end up not translated because I’m 100% lazy and 200% ineffective. You can also pester me on my mail if you wish. Thank you for your message! I can at least say that I have read it.

Edit: I started doing your request so you’ll see the translation eventually. I can’t promise how fast though

  5. Hello, I saw your blog and I would want to thank you for your translations, also I would want to ask for help to a translation, it is about a drama CD of an anime called Senyuu whose duration is 13:20 minutes, here is the link:

The first ten minutes have a translation, but from the minute 10:00 to 13:20 is not translated, If you have time, could you translate the last three minutes please? thanks for your time.

  6. Hello there,
Thanks so much for translating Norn9 drama CDs. Since I found you mostly translating Norn 9 Drama CDs involving Natsuhiko, is he your bias? 🙂 He’s my most favorite character in Norn 9, super cute and handsome. Besides, Daisuke Ono’s voice is so charming XD Can you take this request of mine into consideration: please translate Norn9 Drama CD Vol 2? I know translation would take a lot of time and lots of efforts, but I hope you could take some time to do it? Looking forward to your reply. Thanks in advance.

P/S: I sent you a request 2-3 weeks ago but for some reasons, it didn’t appear here, it’s weird. Maybe because of Internet problem 😦

    • I’m not sure if he’s my bias, but he’s one of the ones I like most (I really tend to like the ‘hard to understand’ one); I’m not sure because I haven’t played the game so I don’t know much about them.
The comments won’t appear unless I approve them, but I didn’t see yours… Either I skipped past for some reason, either it didn’t get posted or something, I’m sorry.
I will try to fulfill your request (I always wanted to try to translate more of the norn9), thank you for leaving it here.

      • He’s a serious guy, but I think he shows more tenderness and gentleness towards Mikoto in Last Era. I hope you can know more about him through this cd drama 🙂 When you finish translating, can I sub it? I’ll credit you of course ^^

      • I like Natsuhiko’s design the most huhu
Well, I can’t promise you any quick translation and you may even have to wait pretty much for it but yes, of course you can sub it 🙂
Actually, does this game have an English translation, I wonder…
I think I remember reading something that they were intending to make an anime or could it be my imagination…

      • Can you estimate when you may finish it? I just wanna know, not urgeing you to do it fast 🙂 This game doesn’t have an English translation, the anime adaption is announced last year but I don’t when it’ll be released. I hope the art in anime is beautiful as in the game. I have most of screencaps in Natsuhiko’s route, I intend to translate them because his route is so good and makes him one of the most kakkoii guy in the game. Even though he’s not good at socializing with people, he calls them “kisama”, he’s just a sweet baby LOL

(Please ignore my last comments >__<)

      • I’m sorry friend, I can’t estimate. I’ve had attempts at taking requests but many turn into failure most of the time because I can’t keep up with them, or I don’t have the áccess to a (good) computer or internet or none at all, it also depends on how hard the translation is and how much I’ll spend on it… Generally, it’s not a good idea to put so many hopes that I’ll finish quickly. I did start on it though.
But is it okay to ask how would you translate the screencaps if you’re requesting a translation from me with this?

      • It’s okay, girl. I understand quite well how many efforts, passions and times that you have been spending to accomplish a product. My friend is the one who translates the screencaps and I’m responsible for editing, but it’d take us more than 5 months to get it done since both of us are busy working, subtitling our projects and my friend is also busy with her kid 😛 I’m glad that you’re willing to help me, and I don’t mind waiting at all. Honestly, it’s still better than nothing 😀

      • Wow, thumbs up to you for being so dedicated! I’ll also look forward to them if you ever post them anywhere. I would offer to help if you were looking for collaborators but I could only stand a chance if there were furigana, haha.

      • It’d be great if we could collaborate, thanks so much XD But it will only happen after you finish translating this CD Drama 🙂 I’ll send you an email to discuss the plan with you later since I’ve felt guilty for making your blog become a chat chit room haha ^^ Don’t worry about your furigana reading skills, my friend can assist when you have troubles reading it.

      • Haha, yeah. But I’m not sure if you understood that furigana means the little writing helping you read the kanji. Because I can’t really read and I saw some screenshots and they didn’t seem to have any helping characters.
No problem for making this a chat room like thing, it’s like that anyway haha

    • I know what furigana means, and you’re right, I don’t see any furigana on such screenshots. But you’ll never know if you don’t try haha XD Maybe you can proofread the translations before I add subtitles to the videos 🙂 I’ll try to record video game footage first and time the audio.

  7. Dear Miraclesmay-san: Hajimemashite. I wanted to request the translation of the song “Day Break Arrival” by Junichi Suwabe-san and Ryohei Kimura-san from the anime Kuroko no Basuke. If you have time and can do it, please let me know.
    Thanks and take care.
    Sincerely,
    Bashiek

    • Hello and thank you for your message! I wish you wouln’t have posted it here as I wrote on the sidebar, but then I realized that it’s my fault I haven’t also edited this post; it’s too old and I didn’t bother to read it again.

I like Kuroko no Basuke and although I’m not very familiar with all the characters songs, I didn’t know and haven’t found any Duet CD for Kise and Aomine. I’m thinking that maybe you watched a video with this song and animation or pics with the KnB characters and thought it’s them who are singing. Maybe you heard Dasoku and clear’s version, because Dasoku can be somehow close to Suwabe Junichi.
Daybreak Arrival” or “Akatsuki Arrival” is, from what I know, a vocaloid song composed by last note, featuring Miku and Luka, that I’ve also liked for a long time. I’ll add a link to the lyrics:
      http://www.animelyrics.com/doujin/vocaloid/akatsukiaraivaru.htm

If it’s not this one, then you could send me the link where you heard it so I can see what you’re talking about, otherwise I can’t help you.

      • Miraclesmay-san: Thank you for the reply. You were right; sorry, this world is still new for me, and I have often made mistakes concerning these Vocaloid singers.

I know you are busy, but if you have time would you be willing to translate this CD?
        http://lost-in-anime.blogspot.com/2014/09/kuroshitsuji-book-of-circus-bonus-cd.html
If you are too busy, then I’d be satisfied with just a summary of each track since my Japanese is pretty rudimentary. If you like, I could mail the tracks to you so you won’t have to download them. However, if you are busy, I understand.

Also, from now on, where would you like me to post on your site?

        Take care.
        Sincerely,
        Bashiek

      • You’re welcome and it’s no problem! By the way, I found out by chance that there are actually two seiyuus singing it, it’s a track from the recently released EXIT TUNES PRESENTS ACTORS vol 03, and the singers are KENN and Ohsaka Ryouta. It’s brilliant.
I’ll look into the CD, I hope I’ll be able to do something. I can’t really promise much though! You don’t need to send me the tracks. And about posting, it’s okay to post here. The only reason why I wanted people to post on one page was because they tend to post on every page they find, and if I have to look through requests I wouldn’t be able to find them anymore. I should make a list with them, but seeing as I never complete most requests, it would be pretty meaningless.

  8. Hello, thanks for translating Norn9 drama CD. Could you please translate Norn9 Drama Cd Vol 2: Natsuhiko – Sakuya – Itsuki? 🙂

  9. Hello! I think you’re going to be good when it comes to translating. ^_^ If it’s okay for you, I’d like to have this translated please http://reshanosekai.blogspot.com/2015/03/ookami-kun-chi-vol5.html It’s the drama CD of my favorite character in Ookami-kunchi, Koiki. I really can’t listen to him until I know what he’s saying…so if it’s really okay for you, I’d be so happy! ❤ Thank you very much in advance. ^///^ And thank you for being a translator. Translators need to be loved more for their hard work. ❤ *hugs*

    • I only saw your message a few days ago and I’m sorry. I’m pretty much trying/wishing to revive the site and your request is very appealing to me as I really like Kimura Ryohei, so I hope to translate it soon.
Thank you for all your praise and too nice words! *hugs*

  10. Hello.. I’d like to find a translation for Chikage’s CD Drama, from Oz to himitsu no ai (Vol.2) If you can translate, or someone can do it, please…I’ll appresiate it so much. I’m waiting for it since 28/05 and i’m pretty anxious. haha. Thank you.

  13. Hi! First I’d like to say thanks for translating the Uta No Prince Sama Christmas Special. I wouldn’t know either way but I think you did a good job. I’d also like to make a request if you could translate the Amnesia anime OVA. It’s been a really long time and there are still no English subs for it. If you can’t I understand, just thought I’d ask. Thanks again!

    • Thanks a lot and thanks for the request. I hadn’t approved your message on the site then but I started doing it some time ago and I hope I will upload the subs these days. I only need to time them.

  14. THANK YOU! (シ_ _)シ THANK YOU VERY MUCH IS ALL THAT I CAN REALLY SAY. i can barely read kanji and understand Japanese mostly by listening. With translations (when/if) available, it saves me by letting me learn more words that they are saying. (シ_ _)シ So all I can say is that I am very thankful to you for willing, sharing your translations with us. REALLY! HONTO NI! MECCHA MECCHA (シ_ _)シ ARIGATOU~GOZAI~MASHI~TA~! m(_ _)m //right now i’m enjoying Free! Web Radio ep1// 。:゚(。ノω\。)゚・。

    • You’re welcome and thank you! Don’t worry, I can barely read kanji as well and understand mostly by listening :d
Hehe, yes, it is a kind of practice to listen and find out more words (although the translation may not be exactly word by word so you can’t take everything to be correct), as it is for me to listen and translate. HONTO NI thanks for the encouraging words and do your best as well! ^^ Hehe, yes, enjoy the radio! They’re really cute how they just talk about whatever they want in that show 😀 I’m currently translating another episode… I hope to get it done soon.

  15. Hi! I’m happy to come across your site. You are my inspiration to study hard with Japanese Language!.Thank you very much for your translations! Yogi looks kakoii in your banner! I’m looking forward to see Gareki too! (i also love Karneval)

    • Oh, thank you so much! I am really happy to hear you say that and I don’t know if I’m that worthy of your praise! Do your best! If you like Japanese, I’m sure you’ll be able to understand it well in the future! Haha, he really does look cool although it is only a cropped picture from the manga poorly edited in paint!

  16. Hi there!! Thanks for your wonderful work ^J^ I was wondering if I could use your translations to translate them into spanish??

    • Of course, go ahead! If you think they are good enough then use them! I think it’s nice to ahve translations in many languages to help more people understand what’s going on 😀 I chose English because it’s one of the most widely known languages (and I don’t know another one well enough beside my mother tongue). If you could, it would be great if you also added a link to this blog when you translate directy from here 😀

      • Thank you very much!! Of course I’ll add a link to this wonderful blog ^ ̫ ^ I totally agree with you about helping people to understand better drama cd’s because they are really awesome!! My japanese is in a very basic level so sometimes if I’m lucky enough I’m able to grasp like the general situation of what’s going on but it’s always so much better to actually know what they’re saying, I’m working hard to reach at least a medium level thoug! I’d like to be able to translate as well! 😀 I’d like more people to listen to the wonderful work seiyuus do without being discouraged by the fact that they won’t understand a thing!! hahaha
Thanks again for your hard work! I know it takes a lot of time to translate!
        お疲れ様 🙂

      • Thank you very much for such praiseful words! Actually I’m not that good at Japanese and I often search a lot of words in the dictionary and try to understand what they’re saying:D. I think that’s why it takes even more time haha
And I actually can’t read almost anything, though I use various sites (like google translate) when I can copy the words
I think it’s also hard to translate from text and takes much time. Do your best ^^ Even if you end up only translating one or a few drama cds, I think everyone appreciates whatever they can find 😀 I think so, and I hope they forgive me for only updating once in a blue moon …lol. 🙂
